An Argument Between Two Lights About What Happened Last Night is a two-minute experimental short created for a found footage montage project at Concordia. Later re-edited with new sound, it follows two lights, green and blue, as they argue about what occurred the night before. When a red light interrupts with its own version of events, they refuse to listen. The argument escalates until one strikes the other, prompting reflection and reconciliation.
The film explores how story, character, and emotion can emerge entirely through editing. Without traditional filming or dialogue, it constructs a complete narrative through rhythm, texture, and tone. It reflects on memory, perception, and the fragile ways we rebuild connection from fragments. The process mirrors the story itself, where misunderstanding becomes the pathway toward understanding.
