An Argument Between Two Lights About What Happened Last Night Winter 2024 An Argument Between Two Lights About What Happened Last Night is a two-minute film shot originally for my found footage montage project at Concordia, it underwent additional editing and sound supplementation. The narrative follows two lights, green and blue, quarreling over last night’s events. A red light intervenes with another version, but they ignore it. As tensions escalate, the green light strikes the blue, prompting a moment of reflection. They ultimately reconcile, embracing after their conflict. This project explores the essence of narrative filmmaking, focusing on character creation, setting, story arcs, and dialogue—all without filming. By using unconventional clips and audio, I aim to demonstrate how every element, from pre-production to production, ultimately relies on editing to shape a cohesive narrative during the montage process. |
